Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team at Volkswagen MidTown Toronto. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for performing vehicle maintenance and repairs, diagnosing malfunctions, and ensuring all work meets our high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake services.
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues, including engine and transmission problems.
  • Qualify vehicles for warranty coverage and perform warranty repairs.
  • Examine vehicles to determine if additional safety or service work is required.
  • Perform road tests to ensure vehicles are safe and roadworthy.

Requirements:

  • Valid 310S Automotive Service Technician License.
  • Valid Driver's License (Class G) with a clean driving record.
  • Dealership experience required.
  • Experience with the Volkswagen brand or German brands is required.
  • Experience working in a technician position is preferred.
  • Strong aptitude for technical/mechanical repairs.
  • Motivated, hardworking, and a team player.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
