Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team at Victoria Airport Days Inn. As a key member of our housekeeping staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and comfort of our guest rooms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and hygienic environment
  • Dust furniture and fixtures to ensure a dust-free environment
  • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture to maintain a clean and tidy appearance
  • Make beds and change sheets to ensure a comfortable sleeping environment
  • Distribute clean towels and toiletries to guests
  • Stock linen closets to ensure a sufficient supply of linens
  • Disinfect operating rooms and other areas to maintain a clean and hygienic environment
  • Clean and disinfect elevators to ensure a safe and clean environment
  • Handle and report lost and found items to ensure a smooth guest experience
  • Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items to provide excellent customer service
  • Provide basic information on facilities to guests
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers to maintain a clean and tidy environment
  • Clean changing rooms and showers to ensure a clean and hygienic environment
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns to provide excellent customer service
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-6 months of experience in housekeeping or a related field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require bending, crouching, kneeling, and walking
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
