Job Title: Material Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Material Coordinator to join our team at York Marble. As a Material Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials and supplies to support our operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Compile and process orders and instructions received from customers and internal teams
  • Organize and maintain inventory levels, including tracking and reporting on stock levels and movements
  • Coordinate with warehouse and production teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials and supplies
  • Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on inventory, shipments, and other relevant data
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • 40 hours per week
Work Setting:

Warehouse

Tasks:
  • Compile orders and instructions received from customers
  • Organize tasks to accomplish the work
  • Plan and organize operational logistics of the organization
  • Revise type and quantity of materials required sent for production, construction and other projects
  • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments
  • Organize warehouse and work areas
  • Co-ordinate activities with warehouse and production units
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies
  • Keep track of shipments
  • Organize and maintain inventory
Experience:
