Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, pick up debris and empty trash containers, launder clothing and household linens, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Household Management: Assist with the management of household supplies, maintain the organization of closets and storage areas, and ensure the overall cleanliness and tidiness of the property.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Assist with the immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees, including housing, transportation, storage, childcare, and winter clothing.

Requirements: No degree, certificate or diploma required. Will train. Must be punctual, dependable, and organized. Ability to work in a non-smoking environment and in an urban area. Travel expenses paid by employer.

Work Term: Permanent. Work Language: English. Hours: 30 hours per week.
