Forklift Operator Job Description

At TIARA DOORS AND MOULDING LTD., we are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely operating a forklift to load, unload, and move products and materials within our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load and unload products and materials from trucks and pallets
  • Operate a forklift to move products and materials within the warehouse
  • Pick orders and stock products on shelves
  • Weigh and inspect products for damage
  • Pack and unpack products for shipping
  • Sort and crate products for storage
  • Install and secure products on shelves
  • Transport and distribute products to various areas of the warehouse
  • Organize and maintain inventory levels
  • Ensure a safe working environment by following all safety protocols and procedures
Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a warehouse or material handling environment
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliability and flexibility to work varying shifts and overtime as needed
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues
Working Conditions:

The Forklift Operator will work in a fast-paced warehouse environment with a variety of equipment and machinery. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a noisy environment and be physically fit to perform the duties of the job.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Work Schedule:

The Forklift Operator will work 40 hours per week, with varying shifts and overtime as needed.
