Job Title: Retail Baker

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Retail Baker to join our team at Tipton's Your Independent Grocer. As a Retail Baker, you will be responsible for preparing artisanal breads and pastries that exceed our customers' expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare high-quality doughs, batters, and icings for a variety of breads, pastries, and cakes
  • Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
  • Operate machinery and equipment to mix, knead, and bake dough
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
  • Prepare special orders and ensure that products meet established quality standards

Work Environment: Our bakery operates in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be working in a team to meet customer demands and maintain high-quality products.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year or equivalent experience
  • Ability to distinguish between colors, attention to detail, and manual dexterity
