Job Description:

The University of Ottawa is seeking a Part-Time Professor to teach a course on Real-Time Systems. The successful candidate will have a strong background in real-time systems and embedded systems, and will be able to demonstrate excellent teaching skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach a course on Real-Time Systems, covering topics such as real-time system design, scheduling algorithms, and synchronization techniques.
  • Develop and deliver course materials, including lecture notes, assignments, and exams.
  • Assess student performance and provide feedback.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of curriculum.

Requirements:

  • Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Strong background in real-time systems and embedded systems.
  • Excellent teaching skills and ability to communicate complex concepts to students.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
