About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our team at ALECTRA ELECTRICAL SERVICES LTD. As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential and commercial structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service and professionalism in all interactions with clients.
  • Wiring Installation: Install underground wiring and cables, ensuring safe and efficient electrical systems.
  • Wire Splicing and Connection: Splice, join, and connect wires to ensure proper electrical flow.
  • Electrical Testing: Test and measure voltage, loads, ground faults, and circuit integrity to identify potential issues.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and isolate electrical faults to provide effective solutions.
  • Estimation and Procurement: Estimate costs and materials required for electrical projects.
  • Electrical System Renovation: Renovate electrical systems in residential and commercial structures to meet client needs.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Conduct regular preventive maintenance programs to ensure electrical systems operate efficiently.
  • Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to understand electrical system designs.
  • Work Term and Language: Work on a permanent basis, with English as the primary work language.
  • Work Hours: Work 30 to 40 hours per week, depending on project requirements.
