CB Canada is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Field & Infusion Nurse. This is a full-time position that requires the ability to work autonomously and as part of a larger team to provide high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Administer medications and infusions in patient homes, specialty clinics, and physician partnership clinic settings.
- Assess and monitor patients before and after treatments, ensuring adherence to program protocols.
- Complete necessary documentation in accordance with policies and procedures, as well as College of Nurses and Innomar ISO accreditation standards.
- Provide patient and caregiver education on product monographs and program protocols.
- Report adverse events, serious adverse events, and product complaints in accordance with Innomar training and policies.
- Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, physicians, and other departments to meet established timelines for scheduling appointments and treatments.
- Participate in team web-based meetings and training sessions to maintain and enhance professional practice standards.
- Travel to clinics and homecare appointments within a designated geographical area.
- Relevant experience as a Registered Nurse required.
- 1 year experience in IV initiation.
- Current registration with a licensing body and CPR certification.
- Experience in critical care, emergency, acute care inpatient/outpatient, or homecare settings.
- ACLS, PALs, MS, and CVAA certification, and central venous lines/port experience are considered assets.
- Proficient in MS Excel, Outlook, and MS Word.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to work autonomously.
- Advanced knowledge of pharmaceutical distribution industry.
- Business and financial acumen.
- Strong critical thinking skills and application.
- Effective interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
