MOME MASONRY LTD. is seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finish on our concrete surfaces.
Key Responsibilities- Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement to achieve a smooth finish
- Operate power vibrators to compact concrete and ensure it meets specifications
- Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification
- Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools
- Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures
- Waterproof, damp proof, and restore surfaces
- Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the trade
- Participation in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees, youth employment, Veterans, Indigenous people, or visible minorities
- Permanent employment with 40 hours per week
- English language proficiency
