We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Farm Labourer to join our team at Diamond N. As a Farm Labourer, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to farm maintenance, animal care, and equipment operation.
Work EnvironmentOur farm is located in a rural area, and you will be working in a fast-paced environment with a variety of tasks to complete. You will be required to work independently and as part of a team to ensure the smooth operation of the farm.
Responsibilities- Clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens, and other work areas
- Clear fields of wood and stones
- Develop and guide the behavior of farm animals
- Disinfect pens, barns, or poultry houses
- Groom horses in preparation for competitions and shows
- Handling animals
- Marking livestock as proof of ownership
- Perform animal grooming activities
- Perform livestock feeding
- Feed and tend animals
- Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
- Train horses
- Clean stables, barns, barnyards, and pens
- Perform general farm duties
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to lift heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment
