About the Role

VHA Home HealthCare is a leading provider of home care services in Ontario, with a team of over 3,000 dedicated professionals. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, client-centered care to individuals in their homes, schools, and community settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living, such as grooming, dressing, and bathing
  • Provide emotional support and socialization to clients
  • Assist with meal planning and preparation, light household duties, and mobility and transfers
  • Monitor and report changes in client behavior and condition
Requirements
  • PSW certification from an approved educational institution
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English (equivalent to grade 10 level)
  • Availability to work weekends or rotational weekends
  • Ability to travel between assignments within designated areas of work
  • Demonstrated commitment to client and family-centered care
