About Fongix Décontamination

We are seeking a skilled site labourer to join our team at Fongix Décontamination. As a key member of our demolition and construction crew, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful completion of our projects.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will have experience working on construction sites and be able to perform various tasks related to demolition, construction, and material handling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and unloading construction materials, including concrete and asphalt
  • Erecting and dismantling scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades
  • Mixing, pouring, and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt
  • Assisting with demolition activities, including breaking down buildings
  • Cleaning and piling salvaged materials
  • Ensuring the site is safe and clean by following all relevant regulations and guidelines
Requirements
  • High school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field
  • Familiarity with construction tools and equipment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

This is a physically demanding position that requires working outdoors in various weather conditions. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be able to lift heavy objects.
