Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement health and safety policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Conduct regular site audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on health and safety procedures and protocols.
- Investigate incidents and near-miss events to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and stakeholders to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements and best practices.
- Develop and maintain health and safety metrics and reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in health and safety, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations, including OSHA and CSA standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
