Job Title: Maintenance Coordinator/Project Manager

About the Role:

Techmation Electric & Controls is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Coordinator/Project Manager to join our team in Fort St. John. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing maintenance activities, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our industrial facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage maintenance activities, including scheduling, planning, and execution
  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies to optimize equipment performance and reduce downtime
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory, and equipment history
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and contractors
  • Provide technical guidance and support to maintenance personnel
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance and project management
  • Strong knowledge of electrical and instrumentation systems, including process control and measurement instrumentation
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license and ability to travel as required
  • Energy Safety Canada H2S Alive & Fall Protection, Standard First Aid – Level A or C, and CSTS 2020 Certificates
