Job Title: Hairstylist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled hairstylist to join our team at First Choice Haircutters. As a hairstylist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hair cutting and styling services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide hair cutting and styling services to clients
  • Shampoo and condition hair
  • Shave and trim beards and mustaches
  • Apply bleach, tints, dyes or rinses to colour, frost or streak hair
  • Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm and style hair
  • Suggest hair styles compatible with client's physical features and preferences
  • Perform receptionist duties

Requirements:

  • Hairstylist Licence
  • Blow drying
  • Iron waving/curling
  • Permanents
  • Roller setting
  • Bleach
  • Dyes/tints
  • Frosting
  • Streaking/highlights

Working Conditions:

  • Barbershop or hairstyling salon/studio
  • 30 to 40 hours per week
