Your Responsibilities
As an Accountant in our Privately Held Business Group, your responsibilities will include working with charity, not-for-profit, and small business clients. You'll prepare year-end financial statements and working paper files for audit, review, and notice to reader engagements. Additionally, you'll perform accounting and bookkeeping tasks, including drafting journal entries and reconciling accounts.
You'll also be responsible for preparing tax filings, providing solutions to clients on current business and financial conditions, and working closely with clients to deliver exceptional service. Your expertise will be utilized in target industry sectors under varying reporting frameworks.

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need an accounting diploma or certificate, or equivalent experience in this field. 1-3+ years of public practice experience are preferred. You should have proficiency with MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook. Strong bookkeeping and organizational skills are essential, as well as solid analytical skills and the ability to identify unusual transactions or accounts.
