Job Duties:
As a Checkpoint Security Officer, you will be responsible for the following duties:
1. Maintaining the safety and security of the checkpoint.
2. Monitoring and controlling access to the checkpoint.
3. Maintaining accurate records of all activities and incidents at the checkpoint.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalent experience working as a checkpoint security officer.
2. Strong leadership skills with the ability to work under minimum supervision and within a team framework.
3. Good interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
4. Must be willing to work shift work & on-call services.
5. Must have a positive attitude towards addressing the drug issue in the community.
6. Must be living a healthy lifestyle, abstaining from illegal substances.
7. Shall have a thorough understanding of the cultural environment in which they serve.
8. Required to be of good standing in the community.
9. The ability to speak Cree language is an asset.
10. Must provide a CPIC with vulnerable person sector at applicant's own expense.
11. Must have class 'G' Drivers' License.
