Finance Internship Opportunity for Indigenous Graduates

Job DescriptionThis internship opportunity is specifically designed for Indigenous graduates who are interested in pursuing a career in corporate finance. The role offers a unique chance to gain hands-on experience and build skills in areas such as financial analysis, bond program enhancement, and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) disclosure.
You will have the opportunity to work with our experienced professionals in various teams, including Financial Performance Management, Financial Markets Accounting and Subsidiaries, and Real Estate Business Strategy. Your responsibilities may include:
- Enhancing our sustainable bond program by analyzing market trends and identifying opportunities for growth
- Participating in ESG disclosure activities to ensure transparency and accountability in our operations
- Improving our SQL/SAP/Excel analysis environment to provide actionable insights for business decision-making
- Setting up or improving Excel analysis tools and developing dashboards to visualize key performance indicators
- Participating in capital monitoring calculations to inform investment decisions
- Analyzing revenue and expense data at different levels to optimize business operations
- Evaluating client profitability to identify areas for improvement
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a bachelor's degree or current graduate studies in a relevant discipline, such as sustainable development, economics, finance, accounting, mathematics, data science, or business analytics. Strong analytical skills, good understanding of financial concepts, and advanced Excel skills are also essential.
Salary and BenefitsThe estimated salary for this position is $28/hour, commensurate with your academic level.
