**About the Role:

The Quality Assembly Technician position at AMETEK, Inc. involves working on various tasks related to the inspection, assembly, testing, repair, and packaging of mechanical, optical, and electronic components, sub-assemblies, products, and systems.

**Responsibilities:

  • Preparatory work, including tool preparation, fixture setup, and test equipment calibration.
  • Produce subassemblies to specification and perform tests.
  • Final assembly of products and system testing.
  • Inspection and repair of components, assemblies, and products.

**Requirements:

  • Grade 12 minimum, preferred diploma in Electronics / Electromechanical / Optics technology.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Ability to interpret assembly procedures, wiring diagrams, and drawings.
  • Ability to document and record test results and report daily labor and material consumptions.
  • Demonstrated ability to use tools, fixtures, and test equipment.
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs occasionally, to shoulder height.
  • Safety conscious.
  • Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
