Claims Specialist

About the Role:

Xpera is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Claims Expert to join our team. As a Claims Expert, you will be responsible for investigating claims and determining the cause of damage or loss.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with our team of experts and management to achieve our goals.
• Conduct thorough investigations to gather facts and determine the cause of the claim.
• Assess the extent of damage or loss and determine liability.
• Negotiate fair and satisfactory settlements with all parties involved.
• Meet production targets and adhere to our established standards, policies, and procedures.

Requirements:

• Valid Category 5a claims expert permit.
• 5-10 years of experience in claims investigation in personal and commercial insurance.
• Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset.
• Proficient in Microsoft tools.
• PAA certification is an asset.
• Valid driver's license.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
