Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Analyst to join our team. As a Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for evaluating and analyzing the financial needs of corporate clients, collecting and interpreting company, industry, and market data, and creating well-thought-out analysis and delivering high-quality presentations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and analyze the financial needs of corporate clients
  • Collecting, consolidating, and interpreting company, industry, and market data
  • Completion of credit rating analysis, including scenario analysis using external credit rating methodologies
  • Create well-thought-out analysis and deliver high-quality presentations
  • Facilitate the execution of ratings advisory mandates, including supporting drafting of rating agency presentations and marketing materials for transactions, liaising with credit rating agencies, cross-functional deal team members, and external clients
  • Collecting, maintaining, and ongoing analysis of client, market, and product data
  • Identifying and developing business opportunities with clients

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years of corporate and/or investment banking or leveraged finance experience. Experience at a rating agency will also be considered
  • Bachelors or Masters Degree in Business, Finance, Math, Engineering, Economics, Science, or Technology
  • CFA, CPA, or equivalent designation is an asset
  • Proven record of outstanding achievement in academic and extracurricular activities
