Medical Radiopharmacist

Salary Range: $36,690 - $45,810 per year (CAD)

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Medical Radiopharmacist to join our Nuclear Medicine team at Vancouver General Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and dispensing radiopharmaceuticals for patients, as well as performing various laboratory tests and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and dispense radiopharmaceuticals according to established protocols
- Perform quality control tests on equipment and radiopharmaceuticals
- Maintain accurate records of patient treatment and test results
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure effective patient care

Requirements:

- Certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) - Nuclear Medicine
- Two years' experience in radioisotope imaging and radiopharmacy dispensing or equivalent education, training, and experience

Preferred Qualifications:

- Knowledge of good manufacturing practices (GMP) and radiation safety protocols
- Experience with Bio Rx applications and computerized patient care systems
