About the Role

Fern Ridge construction Inc is seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team. As a Construction Laborer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by loading, unloading, and transporting materials.
  • Formwork and Scaffolding: Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
  • Mixing and Pouring: Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt under the supervision of experienced personnel.
  • Assisting in Construction: Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction, framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
  • Earthwork and Paving: Level earth to fine grade specifications and pave and rake asphalt as required.
  • Cleanliness and Waste Management: Clean and pile salvaged materials, clean up chemical spills and other contaminants, and remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction and perform routine maintenance tasks as required.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not necessary.
  • Language: English is the primary language used in this role.
