Key Responsibilities- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly audits to identify and inform management of compliance issues, safety risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Facilitate the incident investigation process and maintain required paperwork to comply with Amazon and OSHA regulations.
- Enter Safety Incident Information in internal database in a timely manner.
- Perform safety observations and audits, and train and assist others to complete their safety responsibilities.
- May have additional responsibility for fire prevention, hazardous waste management, or other safety-related activities depending on the business unit and location.
- Participate in process improvement activities and manage actions to completion.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an environmental Health & Safety (EHS) related field.
- Bachelor's degree in EHS-relevant background or higher.
- 6 months of experience performing in a safety-related role within Amazon.
- Strong communication, teamwork, analysis, judgment, and customer focus skills.
- Ability to analyze accident data, new processes, and machinery for potential work safety concerns and conduct job hazard and job safety analyses.
- Experience in emergency response and currently holds First aid and CPR certificates.
- Experience in Worker's Compensation case management.
- Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in a work safety related field.
- Experience leading and managing a team.
- Passion for safety.
