In-Home Child Care Provider

At David Snively, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated In-Home Child Care Provider to join our team. As a live-in caregiver, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and support to children in a family setting.
Responsibilities:- Assume full responsibility for the household when parents are absent.
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
- Shop for food and household supplies to ensure a well-stocked pantry and home.
- Accompany the family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties.
- Wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens to keep them clean and presentable.
- Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents.
- Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development to help them thrive.
- Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children.
- Organize activities such as games and outings for children to promote their physical and mental well-being.
- Supervise and care for children, ensuring their safety and happiness.
- Transport children to and from school and to appointments.
- Tend to the emotional well-being of children, providing a nurturing and supportive environment.
- Cook healthy meals for the family to enjoy.

Requirements:- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in childcare.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Ability to work a 40-hour week, with flexibility for overtime as needed.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Fluency in English or French.
