About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst to join our team at Scotiabank. As a key member of our Cyber Threat Intelligence function, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our systems and data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research and analysis of emerging cyber security threats and assess the potential impact to Scotiabank.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of various network principles, cyber security concepts, investigation procedures, and adversary techniques.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
  • Develop and deliver high-quality technical papers documenting security threats, risks, and mitigation techniques.
  • Communicate situational awareness and technical intelligence to internal and external stakeholders and trusted partners.
Requirements
  • Advanced communication (verbal/written/presentation) skills in English and Spanish.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on technical working experience in network security, information security, and/or network support.
  • Strong analytical and problem resolution skills.
  • Familiarity with evaluating and sharing Indicators of Compromise (IoCs), Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) via reports, formal briefs, and threat indicator sharing platforms.
  • Experience in analyzing and interpreting data from multiple sources, documenting the results, and providing meaningful analysis reports and briefings.
  • Post-secondary education in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Security certifications (e.g., GSEC, CompTIA Security+, CCNA, CompTIA Networking+, ITIL CEH, and OSCP) would be an asset.
