Pamal Trucking is seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. As a Welder, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our metal fabrication processes.
Key Responsibilities- Interpret welding process specifications and operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to produce high-quality welds.
- Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Examine welds to ensure they meet standards and specifications, and perform minor repairs on welding equipment as needed.
- Operate hoisting and lifting equipment to move heavy metal components, and maintain a safe working environment.
- Determine the weldability of materials and ensure that all welding processes are carried out in accordance with company procedures.
- 3 years of experience in welding, preferably in a metal fabrication or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols.
- Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a physically demanding environment.
The successful candidate will work in a well-equipped metal fabrication shop with a team of experienced professionals. The work environment is fast-paced and physically demanding, requiring the ability to work in a team and meet deadlines.
