Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet and prepare patients for specimen collection, explaining the process and ensuring they follow necessary test protocols.
  • Perform phlebotomies, connect/disconnect holter monitors, and conduct ECG tracings as required.
  • Maintain client relationships through responsive communication and follow-up on requests.
  • Enter patient demographics, requisition information, and other relevant details into our systems.
  • Prepare specimens for transportation and testing.
About the Role:

This is a full-time position with day shifts, offering the opportunity to work at various LifeLabs locations in the White Rock, BC region. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, empathy, flexibility, and problem-solving abilities.

Requirements:
  • Completion of a recognized Medical Laboratory Assistant program or equivalent experience.
  • ECC training or experience is an asset.
  • Proficient data entry skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
