Job Title: Drilling Floorhand

We are seeking a skilled Drilling Floorhand to join our team at Precision Drilling Canada Limited Partnership. As a key member of our drilling operations team, you will be responsible for assisting in the setup, operation, and maintenance of drilling equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the setup and operation of drilling equipment, including pipes, drill stems, and drill bits.
  • Handle, sort, and move drill pipes, tools, and other materials as required.
  • Clean up rig areas and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Assist in the transportation of drilling and service rigs and equipment.
Requirements:
  • Oil Sands Safety Association (OSSA) basic safety orientation (BSO) certification.
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
  • Hydrogen Sulphide Awareness (H2S) Certificate.
  • Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Certificate.
  • Confined Space Entry Training.
  • Rig Worker Fall Protection.
  • Standard First Aid Certificate.
  • Fall Arrest Protection Training Course.
Work Environment:

This is a physically demanding role that requires working outdoors in various locations, including remote areas. You will be required to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in environments with hazardous materials.
