The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer to join our team at Colgate. As a Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing cloud-based solutions to meet the needs of our business. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our cloud infrastructure is secure, scalable, and efficient.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement cloud-based solutions using cloud infrastructure and services such as GCP, AWS, and Azure.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure that cloud-based applications are secure, scalable, and efficient.
  • Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure, including virtual networks, firewalls, and load balancers.
  • Monitor and optimize cloud costs to ensure that we are getting the best value for our money.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and trends, and make recommendations for how we can leverage them to improve our business.
Requirements
  • At least 4-6 years of experience in cloud engineering.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, including cloud infrastructure, cloud services, and cloud security.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure and services, including GCP, AWS, and Azure.
  • Strong programming skills, including proficiency in languages such as Python, Java, and C++.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Cloud certifications, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional or Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Developer.
  • Experience with containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
