**Job Description**
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Staff RN, PACU. The successful candidate will possess excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
In this role, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating client care in an acute clinical setting. You will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to provide compassionate, client-centered care that meets the unique needs of each individual.
**Required Skills and Qualifications**
To be successful in this position, you must hold current registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM). Additionally, you should possess advanced education in an approved enhanced specialty post-anesthetic education course and two years of recent related clinical experience aligned with unit-specific competencies.
You will also need to demonstrate excellent assessment and intervention skills, effective communication abilities, critical thinking, and human caring and relationship-centered practice skills.
**Salary and Benefits**
The estimated salary for this position is $85,000-$105,000 per year, depending on your level of experience and qualifications. As a member of our team, you will also enjoy comprehensive benefits, including extended health/dental coverage and a municipal pension plan for part-time and full-time employees. Casuals have the option of paying for benefits.
We also offer four weeks' vacation with one year of continuous service, financial support for moving expenses for eligible positions, employee referral programs, employer-paid training and leadership development opportunities, and spectacular outdoor activities and short commutes in BC.
