About the Role

Talent Compass is seeking an experienced Facilities/Building Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance team in Englehart, ON. This full-time permanent role requires relocation to the area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct the maintenance of non-operational equipment and buildings, including HVAC, hoisting/rigging, fall protection, and fire protection systems.
  • Maintenance work, code compliance, fire alarm checks, and capital improvement projects are completed in-house.
  • Schedule maintenance PMs and corrective work through MP2.
  • Lead and schedule improvement projects.
  • Set project scopes, obtain bids, check contractors, and submit for approval.
  • Order supplies and ensure proper maintenance.
  • Ensure timely completion of work orders by employees and contractors.
  • Maintain mill housekeeping and support EH&S initiatives.
  • Accurately and promptly submit payroll for maintenance staff.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience leading groups in industrial settings.
  • Experience creating, prioritizing, and actioning work orders through a CMMS.
  • Strong understanding of maintaining HVAC, hoisting/rigging, fall protection, and fire protection systems.
