About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Ocean Rain International Daycare Center Inc. as a Program Development Specialist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Storytelling and Engagement: Lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs, and taking children to local points of interest.
  • Artistic Expression: Encourage children to express creativity through the media of art, dramatic play, music, and physical activity.
  • Guidance and Support: Guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
  • Observation and Reporting: Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Discuss progress and problems of children at staff meetings and establish collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children.
  • Environment and Safety: Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children.
Requirements
  • Certifications and Licenses: Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate.
  • Security and Safety: Criminal record check.
  • Personal Qualities: Reliability and team player.

  • Experience: Experience an asset.
