Physiotherapy Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team at Health Careers in Sask. The successful candidate will work closely with Registered Therapists to develop and implement treatment programs for clients, utilizing therapeutic modalities to restore functional independence and quality of life.

About the Role:

This is a part-time temporary position working 12 shifts of 8 hours per 6 weeks, requiring a strong ability to work independently and effectively communicate with clients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist Registered Therapists with treatment programs, applying various therapeutic modalities as needed
• Maintain accurate records of client progress and treatment plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care

Requirements:

• Occupational/Physical Therapist Assistant diploma (OTA/PTA)
• Valid driver's license where required
• Laser Certification where required
