Job Title: Senior Salesforce Engineer

About the Role:

As a Senior Salesforce Engineer at Arc'teryx, you will be responsible for developing, deploying, and maintaining software, tools, applications, and information systems to meet the business requirements of the company in a demanding global marketplace. You will contribute to the development of our Salesforce CRM platforms, explore new technologies, and coach peer developers to ensure consistent, high-quality, and timely solutions for internal business clients.

You will be working on a small and collaborative team that works with various departments across Arc'teryx. We value learning and growth, and strive to deliver the best solutions to teams using our Salesforce applications and other systems.

Key Responsibilities:

* Communicate project and operation status, issues, risks, and resolutions in an agile development methodology
* Provide coaching to peers on the Salesforce development teams in all phases of the project life cycle
* Build solutions in Salesforce using APEX, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, and Aura
* Provide expertise and recommendations on declarative vs non-declarative solutions
* Develop and manage integration endpoints to and from the Salesforce platform
* Work with large volumes of data using data loader and build data mapping processes
* Analyze Salesforce technical debt and propose solutions
* Lead proactive system maintenance and code monitoring, including security reviews, release updates, and code reviews of other developers
* Contribute to Salesforce architecture, data model, security, and integration capabilities
* Provide documentation, training, consulting, and insights on Salesforce best practices, trends, and upcoming features to Arc'teryx teams

About You:

* Bachelor's degree or post-secondary education in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
* 5+ years of experience on the Salesforce Platform delivering medium/large projects/programs using customization and out-of-the-box configurative solutions
* Experience working on Service, Sales, and Experience Cloud
* Completed Salesforce Administrator, Platform Developer 1, Platform Developer 2, and minimum of two Architect Level certifications
* Strong experience with Salesforce programmatic languages APEX, LWC, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Aura
* Experience integrating Salesforce Applications with External Systems using REST, SOAP, and GraphQL APIs
* Experience working with product managers and business analysts to aid in the analysis of business requirements and evaluation of solution alternatives on the Salesforce platform
* Strong understanding of where Salesforce has been (Classic, Workflows) and where it is going (Einstein AI, Omnistudio)
* Proactive attitude to platform enhancements
* Strong attention to detail and ability to create and follow documentation
* Demonstrated success working in an Agile methodology, familiar with tools like Jira and DevOps practices
* Excellent communication and influencing skills
* Excellent time management skills with the ability to plan and meet deadlines
* Passion for Salesforce technology and continuous improvement
* Proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions
