Job Description for Bookkeeper at HAPPY MARKET

We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team at HAPPY MARKET. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and reconciling accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledgers and financial statements.
  • Payroll Preparation: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports, including trial balance and statistical reports.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in Quick Books and other accounting software.
