About the Role:
The Kraft Heinz Company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Industrial Nurse to join our team at the Mt Royal Plant. As an Industrial Nurse, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and well-being of our employees, while also contributing to the overall success of our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate the CNESST claims and absence management process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting and communication with employees and management.
- Provide medical support and guidance to employees, including conducting medical assessments, providing health education, and developing return-to-work plans.
- Collaborate with the on-site physician and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless medical support and care for employees.
- Develop and implement health promotion and prevention programs to reduce workplace injuries and illnesses.
- Conduct regular health screenings and medical tests, as required.
- Provide first aid and emergency response services, as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and reports.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance the overall health and safety of the workplace.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Nursing (DEC) from a recognized institution.
- Current membership in the Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers du Québec (OIIQ).
- Functional bilingualism (English and French).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an Industrial Nurse, with a strong understanding of occupational health and safety principles and practices.
