Job Title: Certified Occasional Teacher - Substitute Educator

Job Summary:

The Simcoe Muskoka Catholic District School Board is seeking qualified Certified Occasional Teachers to fill daily supply positions on an ongoing basis. As a substitute educator, you will have the opportunity to work in various schools within the board, providing instruction and support to students in the absence of regular teachers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide instruction and support to students in grades K-12
  • Develop and implement lesson plans to meet the needs of students
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
  • Communicate with parents and guardians to ensure student success
  • Collaborate with other educators to promote a positive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

  • Valid Ontario College of Teachers Certificate of Qualification
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work in various schools and locations
