Farm Labourer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and physically fit Farm Labourer to join our team at Immigrate. As a Farm Labourer, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to crop care and farm maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and irrigate soil to ensure optimal crop growth
  • Plant, fertilize, thin, and harvest crops to meet production targets
  • Load, unload, and transfer products for transport to ensure timely delivery
  • Prepare for seeding and harvesting to minimize downtime
  • Clean up harvest bins and general clean up of areas to maintain a safe working environment
  • Assist with general farm maintenance and maintenance of equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance
Requirements:
  • Punctuality and attention to detail are essential for this role
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting to achieve common goals
  • Able to lift 100lbs repeatedly to meet physical demands of the job
  • Equipment operating experience is an asset, but not required
  • Ability to follow instructions and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
  • Able to work long hours as required during peak seasons
  • Not allergic to dust and grains
  • Overtime may be required to meet production targets
