Medical Laboratory Technologist II

Do you have a strong passion for medical science and a desire to work in a dynamic environment? We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Technologist II to join our team at Northern Health Authority.
As a Medical Laboratory Technologist II, you will be responsible for obtaining and preparing specimens for routine analysis. You will perform various routine Hematological, Microbiological, Biochemical, and Immunohematological testing in accordance with Departmental Procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
• Obtain and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis
• Perform routine testing in accordance with Departmental Procedures
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate test results
• Maintain accurate records and reports

Qualifications:
• Graduate of an approved school of Medical Laboratory Technology and current Canadian Society of Medical Laboratory Science registration
• One (1) year recent related experience
• Experience in all the above disciplines preferred

• Ability to deal with others effectively
• Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position
• Ability to organize work
• Ability to operate related equipment
