Job Summary:

Brandt is seeking a skilled Parts Person to join our team in Winnipeg, MB. As a key member of our Construction & Forestry location, you will play a vital role in assisting customers with parts inquiries, providing pricing, and completing online parts orders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Problem Solving: Utilize your analytical skills to resolve customer inquiries and resolve parts-related issues.
  • Inventory Management: Receive, store, and manage incoming parts and materials in our warehouse and yard, ensuring accurate inventory levels and efficient stock management.
  • Parts Fulfillment: Locate and ship parts to customers and other branches, meeting tight deadlines and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Technical Support: Provide assistance to branch service technicians as required, leveraging your knowledge of parts and equipment to support their work.
  • Inventory Control: Place inventory stock orders, make inventory and bin adjustments, and accurately document and report all shipping, receiving, inventory, and stock information.
  • Equipment Operation: Safely operate parts and warehousing equipment, as well as computer systems, to efficiently manage inventory and complete tasks.

Requirements:

  • Physical Demands: Meet the physical demands of the parts/warehousing trade, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service skills, both over the phone and in person, to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Industry Experience: Previous experience in the parts industry is preferred, with a solid foundation of parts/warehousing knowledge and skills.
  • Certifications: Journeyperson Certification is considered an asset.
