Purchasing Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Purchasing Specialist to join our team at PML Sound International. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for sourcing high-quality products, negotiating purchase terms, and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Procurement and Sourcing: Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate purchase terms, and ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Supplier Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring excellent service and quality products.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and control inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock levels and minimizing waste.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze reports on procurement activities, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, strong analytical thinking, and proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Sheets.
