Job Overview

Position Summary: 0000050599 RBC Dominion Securities Inc. is a leading investment and wealth management firm in Canada. The Simpson-Caputo Commodity Futures Group is seeking a highly motivated individual to join their team as an assistant to the Investment Advisory Team. This role will play a key part in supporting their commodity futures specialization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain relationships with potential clients through prospecting, cold calling, and attending industry events
  • Follow up with potential clients and introduce them to the Investment Advisor
  • Expand the team's exposure within and outside the company, focusing on the Ag and Food Service sectors
  • Develop and create marketing materials, organize presentations, and manage business communications
  • Develop weekly business plans and provide administrative support for new accounts

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Experience in public speaking and presentation
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Futures and Options Licensing or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe
  • Customer service mindset, strong command of English, and creative thinking abilities
