Job Requirements
We are seeking a highly skilled VDC Project Lead to join our team in Vaughan, ON. The successful candidate will have a post-secondary degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Drafting, or relevant technical diploma, and at least 5 years of experience in the mechanical trades and construction industries. They will also need to be proficient in Navisworks, Revit, and Fabrication Parts, as well as have strong computer skills with hands-on working knowledge of MS Office and digital scheduling software.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement processes to produce a cost-effective optimized coordinated model
- Coordinate with forepersons, superintendents, project managers, and general contractors
- Ensure designs conform to applicable standards
- Produce detailed fabrication drawings for piping and/or sheet metal
- Work closely with forepersons and project coordinators to produce coordination drawings and BIM models
