About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Pizza Pizza. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food to a high standard, ensuring that all dishes are presented in a clean and appealing manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook food to a high standard, following recipes and presentation guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring that they are aware of and adhere to kitchen procedures and protocols.
  • Order and manage inventory of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring that the kitchen is well-stocked and that waste is minimized.
  • Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas, ensuring that they are in good working order.
  • Manage kitchen operations, including scheduling, inventory management, and staff supervision.
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and a focus on quality.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and management.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects, with a focus on maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
