We are seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer to join our team at Amazon Advertising. As a Front-End Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and deploying highly scalable and reliable distributed services for our Generative AI experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Solve technical challenges and act as a mentor to junior engineers.
- Translate business and functional requirements into concrete deliverables and build quick prototypes or proofs of concept.
- Help invent new features, design, develop, and deploy highly scalable and reliable distributed services.
- Work with a variety of core languages (primarily React, etc.) and technologies (AWS).
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and Applied Scientists.
- 2+ years of non-internship professional front-end, web, or mobile software development using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS experience.
- 4+ years of computer science fundamentals (object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem-solving, and complexity analysis) experience.
- Experience using JavaScript frameworks such as Angular and React.
- 4+ years of professional front-end development experience.
- 3+ years of agile software development methodology experience.
- Knowledge of professional software engineering and best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, software architectures, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployments, testing, and operational excellence.
