About the Job:
The Healthcare Support Worker will provide high-quality patient care and support to patients in a hospital setting. This role involves assisting patients with personal care and activities of daily living, as well as performing nursing procedures such as taking temperature, pulse, and respiration. The successful candidate will work as part of an interdisciplinary team to deliver patient care and will be responsible for observing and reporting changes in patient progress, symptoms, and condition.

About this role:
This is a casual opportunity, which means hours are not guaranteed and may vary. Shifts may be scheduled at short notice. As a casual employee, you will be eligible to apply for internal postings, including permanent and temporary positions. There are many opportunities with Interior Health that begin with casual employment and lead to regular employment.

Work Schedule:
Shifts will be scheduled days and nights, rotating from 07:00 to 19:00, 19:00 to 07:00 hours.

The Vernon Jubilee Hospital is a core medical and surgical specialty hospital that provides services to patients throughout its service area. Located in Vernon, between Kelowna and Kamloops, the hospital offers services including core physician specialties, 24-hour emergency and trauma services, acute and obstetrical care.
