About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Maintenance Worker - Building Services to join our team at Comfort Inn & Suites. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our building's systems and maintaining a safe and clean environment for our guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as emptying trash cans, making adjustments to heating and cooling systems, and performing minor repairs to plumbing and electrical systems.
  • Conduct safety and security checks to ensure the building's systems are functioning properly and identify any potential hazards.
  • Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair as needed.
  • Work with minimal supervision and take initiative to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience in maintenance or a related field is an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that require bending, crouching, and kneeling.
Work Environment

This is a permanent full-time position with 35 hours per week. The work environment is fast-paced and requires attention to detail and a strong work ethic.

Language

The primary language of work is English.
