The Nova Scotia Health Authority is seeking a skilled Clinical Therapist to join our team in the Child and Adolescent Service, Mental Health and Addictions. As a member of our team, you will provide assessment and planning, treatment and intervention, and crisis management for clients. You will work collaboratively with families and other healthcare professionals to provide person-centered care and support.
This is a part-time long assignment position, working 60 hours bi-weekly for approximately 12 months. The successful candidate will have a Master's degree in a clinical health-related discipline and current registration with a relevant provincial regulatory body. They will also have demonstrated knowledge and skills in providing individual and group evidence-informed therapies, collaborating with families, and crisis intervention.

About You- Master's degree in a clinical health-related discipline
- Current registration with a relevant provincial regulatory body
- Demonstrated knowledge and skills in providing individual and group evidence-informed therapies
- Demonstrated knowledge and skills in collaborating with families
- Demonstrated knowledge and skills in crisis intervention
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and prioritization skills
- High level of written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in multiple software applications
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative, work independently, and participate as a member of a multidisciplinary team
